GONE DIGGING-WORKING TERRIERS

FORTES FORTUNA ADIUVAT Welcome free thinkers, truth seekers & friends of THE WORKING TERRIER.

TIMES ARTICLE (a must read).

Never thought there would be a great need to add a disclaimer for this site. But it now appears that lazy journalists are doing their very best to tar us legitimate terrier enthusiasts with the same brush by the public.

There has never been any illegal photos on this small website of any illegal activity. The site is in English language due to it being possibly the most understood & popular language. Traffic to this site comes from all over the world. & please bear in mind, this small website is dedicated to the terriers we all love, and actually using them for there proper vocation, controlling pests wherever man chooses to build a home or harvest a crop. Using terriers and other working dogs has helped man provide food and keep the homestead free from disease spreading vermin. & in the last few days I have seen the word 'fighting' being used to describe the work of our heroes, the working terrier. Dear freethinker, I am concerned for the future of the human race, when I read this new word to describe the actions of a terrier slaying a rat, or collie dog forcing a ewe off the hill against her will to come in for lambing. A ferret in pursuit of a rabbit below ground & yes a brave terrier barking at a badger so he can be removed from where he is not welcome.
WHERE WILL THIS MADNESS END? The only explanation for why badgers arouse such strong emotions has to lie in children’s literature.
